Adrian Pijoan is a Mexican-American artist and filmmaker based in New Mexico. His work explores the realms of dreams, the paranormal, and speculative fiction. He examines the ways we can find our own ecstasies and anxieties in tales of the fantastic and horrific. Do aliens traverse the night sky? Does Bigfoot haunt our sylvan forests? Can we telepathically communicate with plants? Does it matter? The truth is not inevitable, but these stories reflect our shared hopes, fears, and dreams. Adrian received his MFA in art and ecology from the University of New Mexico. His work has been shown at art spaces and as part of film festivals around the world.
